First, though, Sunni's safety tip of the day: do not, never ever, cut a fingernail. No, I don't mean trimming them, silly; I mean slicing through a nail that's still got tissue underneath it. I did exactly that last Friday; it hurt so bad I had to take something for the pain to get to sleep that night -- and I'd cut it before noon. (And just for reference, I gave birth to both of my children without any medication, either during or afterward -- not even a Tylenol.) I took it easy on my thumb over the weekend, wanting it to heal as much as possible. The skin beside the cut into the nail is healing nicely, but, as I discovered while finally canning my cranberry conserves a bit ago, putting any pressure on the thumb still results in a lot of pain. Pain that's gonna need more Tylenol soon ... So, don't cut your fingernail! But then, few people are probably as klutzy as I can be ...

Anyway, I was here about pood ... I've written up my turkey gravy recipe. It's wheat-free and yummy. Hope you like it!
