Sunni and the Conspirators

Since I've Already Been Accused of Being a Suprynowicz Shill ...

I'll share [yes, it's with permission] excerpts of a recent email with Vin:

Black Arrow sales remain somewhat ahead of what our non-fiction titles have always done -- a couple of thousand copies per year.

But it'll take at least the rest of the year to make back our original investment on The Black Arrow, at which point the next project will be coming up with $8,000 to print a few thousand more copies of The Ballad of Carl Drega, which will go out of print this month, the initial run of 5,000 copies having sold out in precisely 36 months.

And once that's done, any surplus Black Arrow revenues which may accrue in 2006, will be hoarded to publish my next book in 2007.

WTF??! Mountain Media publishes strictly pro-freedom books -- Vin and L. Neil Smith only to date, unless I'm misnaken [not a typo!] -- and as such, I for one would like to see them be able to expand, rather than scrape by. If you aren't familiar with The Black Arrow, please see my review, or Tom Knapp's review, or hell, Google the title and find any of the other numerous reviews out there and read 'em. And if you're intrigued, buy the book! (This, and the link above, are to Amazon, and Endervidualism will get a referral on the sale. If you prefer, go directly to Vin's Liberty Bookshop. While there, pick up any of Vin's nonfiction books too ... I doubt you'll be disappointed.) There's a reason why he's undefeated as Free-Market.Net Freedom Book of the Year winner.

I bought it, based largely on what Tom Knapp wrote about it. Damned good book. Intense, purposeful, and well written. I wish I had wrote it smile

I just finished reading "The Black Arrow" for the second time. I enjoyed it even more.

Waiting for Vin's next effort!

Good for you two! John, perhaps if Mountain Media gets ahead of the game a bit, they could publish your stuff. So, have y'all read The Ballad of Carl Drega or Send in the Waco Killers?

Haven't read those Sunni. Thanks, I'll look them up.

The Ballad of Carl Drega was well worth the retail price I paid for it.
