It's a Carnival!

Well, not yet, exactly. But the trucks are pulling up, and I've seen a few carnies about, trying to figure out how to best use the facilities here for Carnival of Liberty XII. If you've never attended a Carnival of Liberty, here's Carnival of Liberty X for you to peruse; and the most recent iteration, Carnival of Liberty XI is now available.

I'll be hosting Carnival XII next week, and I'd like to give the Carnival a little more focus than usual. I'm a bit weary of rantings on electoral politics and economics and asinine regulations; I'm also tired of the negative focus. So this time 'round, I'm encouraging anyone who'd like to contribute to address personal liberty. What do you do to increase your individual liberty? What goals for freedom are you working toward? You can share a story, recounting a time when you thumbed your nose at the powers that be. Or, you might wish to focus on fiction or music that inspired you to explore the freedom philosophy ... there's a lot of room for possibilities. Embrace your Inner Anarchist, and see where it leads!

If you choose the last option, please indicate in your subject line that it's CoL related. Anyone may enter -- it's not just for LLP members -- and I encourage anyone who's serious about advancing liberty to share his or her ideas. Carnival of Liberty XII will be published here Tuesday, September 20, so your entries need to make it to me by Monday latest. Have fun, and if you barf while on the Tilt-a-Whirl, please clean up after yourself!
