Music: 'One Thing Leads to Another', The Fixx

'... doesn't mean you should do it.' I've told the snolfs that often enough that I ought to be able to heed it myself. Yet, last night I indulged a rash impulse that has opened a path I'd thought permanently closed. If I choose that path I'd be walking among skeletons decades old, and I'm not sure I want to do that ... the opening of the path was surprising, and painful enough.

Don't look for a lot of commentary from me here for the next few days; I need to try to sort this out, amid plenty of other stress-producing things going on. Arrrrrgh!!

Ward and I saw Carl on the 1st and 2nd day of the FSP--NH campout back in July. He crashed in our spare tent. He was alive, well, and working. Chatted and drank some beer with Ward and I, wandered around, then went back to work. Saw Hunter a few times also--alive and well as can be. Of course, I'm a "full member" with fewer privileges than an unsubcribed guest. When logged in, I'm not even allowed to _view_ my own profile (which any Googlebot or guest can do). The boss moderator (Debra) doesn't answer my email.
Maybe I've done something wrong there, but I wish they'd taken the time to tell me _what_.
