Special Copy of 'The Black Arrow' Up for Auction to Benefit Freedom Activist

From Wolfesblog, word comes of an eBay auction of her signed, leatherbound copy of Vin Suprynowicz's terrific novel The Black Arrow. It's apparently in pristine condition (Claire read a paper version of the book, she says).

Claire is selling the book as a fundraiser to help Bark, a Mental Militia friend and one of the coding geniuses behind it and The Claire Files forum. He's dying of cancer, and his friends are helping to ease that transition with herbal medicines. Proceeds from the book will go toward those expenses.

If her copy of the book is like my signed copy -- and I've no reason to doubt it isn't -- it's personalized to her, and signed by Vin. For those of us who value both of these writers, that makes this copy even more special. [UPDATE: Claire has stated that she will sign the book as well, if the winning bidder would like her to.]

You already have a copy of TBA? Then consider what a great gift this unique volume would make for the special freedom activist in your life. The auction ends on December 19, so it's quite likely the book could arrive in time for gift-giving.

I met Bark, once, all too briefly. I know some of the friends who are helping him very well. They are great pro-freedom folks with big hearts, doing the best they can for a fellow traveler. Please consider helping Bark, and them, out. If for some reason you can't or won't bid on the book, please help spread the word among other liberty lovers.
