Arrrgh! I was almost finished with a blog entry when my machine froze up, causing me to lose the post. Fortunately for you, I don't have time to recreate my ramblings, so you get the to-the-point version:

• Bonner calls Amerikan health care a scam;


• I find the original report, which is about 2.5 years old, along with a later reprint at an interesting site and a pointed commentary that extends the argument;


• I point to my previous commentary on idiotic medical public policy and muse at how quickly the fashion seems to be spreading; and


• resolve to handle my ongoing breathing challenges myself, and ignore those of you who laugh at some of the things I do. If it works, it works; that's what's really important.

The original version was much more clever, of course, but you take what you can get.
