From a Man with a Migraine Comes a Terrific Idea

I'm embarrassed to say I never put these particular twos together to get the four that Michael at Uncivil Defence did—and he did it while in the grip of a migraine headache. (I feel for you, my friend, and hope that it's gone at last. Did you see this report on a new way to treat migraines?)

What exactly was Michael's genius, you ask (well, besides this and this)? He observed that the Blogger version of the Real ID Rebellion is still in place, and that it could still be used. And since it's on Blogger, pretty much anyone with a Blogger account who wants to help contribute to the project can join the team. Is that a flash of brilliance or what?

So, I have a request for all you RID Rebels who have kept your badges on your web sites all this time: please switch it back to http://realidrebellion.blogspot.com/.

And anyone who'd like to participate in the group blog, please shoot me an email. The conditions for participating are as follows: that blog has one sole mission—resisting the Real ID Act—and should not be used for any other blogging; and in pursuit of that mission, nothing should be advocated that increases the size or powers of any government agency. That still leaves a lot of room for differing perspectives, and activism approaches, which is what it's going to take to get rid of this thing. I reserve the right to ask for information from individuals I don't know before signing them on to the project, including asking for endorsements from others in the freedom movement whom I do know. I also reserve the right to boot individuals who stray from the mission or who seem to be doing more harm than good. Cross-posting from another blog, as long as it's focused on Real ID, is fine.

Have started a yahoo group, realfreedom08. The focus is for those who recognize the potential for genocide against dissidents which Real ID facilitates. Not for the faint hearted!
