Since Jomama pointed me in the direction of the Gaping Void, I put Hugh MacLeod's feed into my aggregator, thinking I'd get other gems from him from time to time.

Sure didn't take long:

I've liked a number of his recent, wry observations on what passes for the social scene nowadays too, but this one really resonates.
