I think Lobo has mentioned his version of this before, so it isn’t as if I’m spilling anything private here. We had agreed to get together for a concert on the Test for Echo tour, and I saw an earlier show (third one of the entire tour, actually). Being quite tired by the time I got home, I emailed him a brief note with a subject line that read something like “My ass is black and blue”. He didn’t make the connection, and was concerned that I’d hurt myself.
