Caramels?

Someone hinted recently that he’s missed my caramels. I am gaining sufficient ground to be able to make some later this week. Anybody else interested in placing an order? Options and prices are as follows [updated 3/28 with new items] [please see here for current offerings and price information]:

Bovard’s PB Bombs:
My take on rice-cereal treats, these crispy, sweet-salty nuggets are made with natural peanut butter and honey instead of marshmallow goop. Delicious as is, but chocoholics will appreciate a coat of fine quality semisweet chocolate atop them. Named in honor of Jim Bovard, the freedom family’s premiere journalist and peanut butter fiend.

Honey Roasted Almonds:
Freshly-roasted almonds are bathed in honey, then dusted with a bit of sugar and salt for a slightly sweet, thoroughly pleasing snack. The only thing that makes these nuts better, in my opinion, is a kiss of cinnamon and cloves. Just try to keep your hand from reaching in the bag again and again!

(Other spice variations are possible too – a pinch of cayenne or chipotle, for example, would add a subtle touch of heat to the nuts. If you’d like a custom spice blend, we can talk about your ideas!)
