The quake was 30 KM from my place, we got quite a shake, but no real damage as far as I can tell. In some ways the after shocks were more disturbing. Not as strong, but there
were a lot of them and they continued well past midnight.
As of the latest news I heard, 15 dead and over still 100 missing. One small town completely wiped out. The quake area is still inaccessible by road.

Glad to hear you are ok, and sorry there was so much damage and loss of life. I lived all my life on the edge of the big fault line in So. Calif., so earthquakes are no stranger.
I had not heard of the quakes there. One down side to not having a TV or listening to the radio. No mention of it in any on-line news feed I get. Strange.
Whew!
I had an email waiting for me this morning from our other C.R. conspirator, the gist of which is “we’re fine”. What a relief!
