Hello!
Helloooooooo?
Anybody else here?
Our move isn’t quite done, but we’re getting close. Huzzah for that! And also for the lovely bathtub that I’ve soaked in every night for almost a week now, soothing my aching muscles and tired back. I don’t know how I avoided murderousness for so long, without access to a bathtub.
My computer situation is still wonky, and I have larger issues that are ahead of it in the priority queue. But I wanted to let the 3 still clinging on to hope that this place is still active to know that it is. And with any luck, in about another week I’ll be pestering you beyond all reason. (At least you missed the annual extra-introspective weirdness this year!)

Huzzah!
On behalf of my two fellow readers, it's good to see things are progressing. It will be nice to be pestered again. Belated happy extra-introspective day!
Still hanging around
I am still here. Keep meaning to post but things get in the way.
Glad to hear your move is almost over. At some point you really must tell us why you move so much.
Nobody here but us chickens
Glad to hear it. Sad thing is, I'm sure I wasn't counted among the "three". ;)
Math wasn't your strong suite
..... 'cause if I count correctly, you have at least 4 of us. :)
Hey!
I'm not here. I was never here, and I'll never be here. I don't even exist. You can quote me on that.
Virtual hello
I'm only here via RSS, so that doesn't count.
Yesterday I partially unpacked some moving boxes that were packed in 2000. Keep this in mind for perspective, in case you're feeling too industrious. :-)
You all were counted!
But when I got to “three” in one language, I just switched to another.
Warren, thank you very much; it was a very pleasant day despite working on the move.
Jorge, that’s an easy question: I’m making up for all the time I spent stuck in Ohio the first 30+ years of my life.
Dullhawk, you always count. Never doubt that for a second.
H.C., I can (well, I could once upon a time) do a mixed factorial analysis of variance by hand, but I guess I cannot count. Or, at least not above three without things starting to get linguistically weird, apparently. That’s my story and I might stick to it.
Ah, Mr. Bill, so you’re the cipher I can barely twig back there.
And if anyone sees Brian N., please let him know an impostor came by and posted some existential angstiness in his name.
I’ve missed you wonderful individuals!
Late as usual...
I'm here too but tardy . . .
Hello back!
Huzzah for the bathtub! Glad to hear you're almost done with the move.
Hola!
Mmmm bubble baths-- that sounds enchanting, despite the moving weariness.
I also wish you a belated, lovely extra-introspective weirdness day. I am glad to hear you enjoyed it in meat space, again despite the moving weariness.
And have you been able to knit any through all this....?
All hail the tub!
I do think that’s been the key to retaining what little sanity remains in me. Thanks, Ellen and lewlew.
Barely. As expected, I don’t have enough attention left at the end of the day for anything more complicated than stockinette; I haven’t picked up anything besides the “boring guy sweater” since our travels. Since it’s knit in the round, it’s even easier—just knit stitches around and around! I’m almost done with the body on it. Even just a round or two in the evening helps me unwind.
Still visiting, naturally :-)
Your comment regarding the 'factor analysis by hand' took me back a l-o-n-g way - like you, I had to devise all sorts of solutions by hand in pen & paper exams etc, but nowadays, a guiding text would be necessary! What you don't use...
But there are much more important things in life than FA!
Here's to a smooth move for you and the family,
cheers
Um of course...
Of course I'm still here. :) *hugs*
EDIT: Am I a factor of tres? or three? or drie? or trois? or some other language?
Hmmm. Yes ...
But some other language, especially since I don’t recognize a couple of your threes. You’re in the Три group, I guess.
Warm squeezes in return!
And Shaun and Tom, thanks to you both for speaking up as well. Hearing from so many of you tempts me to go on leave more often, y’know ... ;-)
I'm here! [waving wildly!!]
I've been looking in every day... well, at least almost every day, but just have not yet had the time or energy to write up my adventures in California. But I'll inflict...er, get to that as soon as possible.
The usual backlog after a trip, and then got involved with writing up Management and safety plans for the gun club range here after some moron shot down the nearby electric wires and got us closed down.
And so it goes...
Glad you are getting settled, Sunni! Hugs to all. :)
I'm here... and there. And
I'm here... and there. And occasionally nowhere.
I'm here, just not saying
I'm here, just not saying much.
Updates?
Howz that move coming along? I hope it is nearing completion and you can ease your mind in a big ol' metaphorical bathtub of philosophical thought (or knitting, whatever does the trick).

Interest?
I didn’t think many (any?) would be interested in moving tales—while the details change, the milieu is so similar that there’d be nothing worth sharing.
Or by withholding, am I depriving y’all of some schadenfreude?
Not the moving...
I've moved enough for a dozen people, so know the drill...
How about telling us about the new digs and the neighborhood. Did your social environment improve or not?
How are the Karate lessons coming? Or are you too far away now?
Will you be able to have a garden there?
And send pictures! :)
Do Tell
Yes, inquiring minds want to know. :)
Tell No Tales
Tales aren't really necessary, though not unwelcome. I was mostly wondering how it was progressing and if the end was in sight for you. I, too, have moved myself and others so much I was thinking of adding it to my resume.
Anyway, I hope it is coming to a peaceful and restful close.

Helloo...ellooo...elloo
Hey, I'm still here too. I'm busy with school. Plus I just joined the cast of the VCSU Theatre and its marketing team, and am babysitting everyday, so I basically have this third child at home, and...oh forget it. I don't remember what I'm called sometimes anyway. ;)
Glad the move is going well so far.
Delighted to hear from you!
And others about whom I’ve been wondering lately—like you, REC.
When you say ”joined the cast”, Polka, does that mean you’ll be in a performance soon? I would love to hear more about that! Sounds like you’re more busy than I knew, though, so I understand your quietude here. Still, you are missed. :)
