Okay, we're not in Seattle, and, well, there are two ball pythons about 7 ft. from where I'm sitting ... and it's shaping up to be a sunny day with a cloudless sky ... but I don't feel very Sunni.
She claims she doesn't need the time off/away, but I suspect she does, and do not begrudge it to her in the least.
I just miss her already.

Oh, poor Lobo, I feel for you, I really do. Just this past weekend, my sweetie had to go out of town (for only one night even) and I was a mess.
Me! Little Miss Independence, who spent three weeks in Switzerland and who always does her own thing and likes her "alone time," was a total wreck and could not sleep all night.
It wasn't until this past weekend, that I finally realized that although I love my independence and I like to do my own thing, that I also like having my sweetie here just puttering and doing his own thing too.
Try to enjoy this feeling of deep love and remember that the lonely nights (and days) will not last forever. I admire the both of you so very much and I am thrilled that the two of you have found each other. You and Sunni are incredibly lucky to be partners and to be so in love.
