Hunter has been a trusted, very good friend practically since I first got to know him. Through good times and tough times, we've managed to hang together. This exercise in vanity -- my own web site -- was his idea, and he has enthusiastically supported its creation, not just with words but deeds: he registered the domain name, and hosts the site on his server. That's not as small a thing as it might sound.
With all that, you'd think he'd've been the first Rogue up in the gallery ... he had good cause to be, but love trumped friendship and Lobo got bragging rights (what little there might be in being "Sunni's first rogue" ;-). It's also the case that the piece Hunter wanted here was not satisfactory to him ... so with uncharacteristic patience, I waited. (Well, okay, I was insanely busy too, but I did want his first essay to be in a form he liked.) At last, that's happened, and thus, I pounced on it for inclusion here.
